xAI's own image model, Aurora, replaces FLUX in Grok. It is an autoregressive mixture-of-experts trained to predict interleaved text and image tokens.
First in-house xAI image generator. Autoregressive next-token design rather than diffusion, with native image-input and editing. Rolled out to select countries on X first.
