Claude Code plugins
Claude Code plugins package slash commands, subagents, MCP servers and hooks so teams can install and share a whole setup in one step.
Gives Claude Code a distribution format for its extension points, installed with /plugin and toggled on and off. The same packaging later carried Cowork plugins (2026-01-30), the Claude Marketplace (2026-09-23) and Claude Code mods (2026-10-01). Public beta at launch.
