Grokipedia v0.1
xAI launches Grokipedia, an AI-written online encyclopedia pitched as an alternative to Wikipedia, with over 800,000 articles at launch.
Articles are generated or rewritten by Grok, with a significant share forked from Wikipedia. Critics note incorrect citations and unattributed sourcing. A product move rather than a research advance.
