Grok Imagine API
xAI opens the Grok Imagine API: text-to-video, image-to-video and video editing with native audio, benchmarked at 720p.
Moves Grok Imagine from consumer app to developer API, adding video editing (object add/remove, restyle, scene control). A separate 1.5 video model with native 1080p appears in xAI's July 2026 release notes.
