SWE-1 model family
Windsurf ships its first in-house models, SWE-1, SWE-1-lite and SWE-1-mini, trained for the full software-engineering workflow.
A tool vendor trains its own coding models on 'flow awareness' data (shared user-AI timelines). SWE-1 claims Claude 3.5 Sonnet-class reasoning at lower serving cost; lite replaces Cascade Base and mini powers Tab.
