Windsurf Editor
Codeium launches the Windsurf Editor, an 'agentic IDE' built around Cascade, a codebase-aware chat that edits across files.
Codeium moves from IDE plugins to its own VS Code-fork editor where Cascade combines repo-wide context, tool use and live awareness of user edits, with Supercomplete and Command. Direct competitor to Cursor, with free tier at launch.
