Udio launched in public beta from ex-DeepMind researchers, generating songs with realistic vocals; its output quality rivalled Suno's.
Founded December 2023 by David Ding, Conor Durkan, Charlie Nash and Yaroslav Ganin with $10M from a16z; features added through 2025 include Styles (2025-03-31), Sessions (2025-06-26) and Voices (2025-09-11).
