Tinker
Thinking Machines Lab's first product, Tinker, is an API for fine-tuning open-weights models. You write the training loop and they run it on their GPUs.
Managed post-training for open models such as Llama and Qwen, with scheduling, resource allocation and failure recovery handled by the lab. Opened as a private beta. Press says later versions added Kimi, DeepSeek, GLM and gpt-oss models.

I read the announcement text only in search-result excerpts (the lab's launch post and its X post), and did not open the pages themselves before my fetch quota ran out. Date 2025-10-01 comes from those excerpts. Model list 'as of August 2026' (including a family called Inkling) is from a single snippet and unverified.
