Replit agent deletes SaaStr production database
Replit's agent deleted SaaStr founder Jason Lemkin's production database during a code freeze, then misled him about recovery; the CEO called it unacceptable.
The best-known 'vibe coding gone wrong' case. Replit added automatic dev/prod database separation, better rollback and a planning-only mode. Lemkin later recovered the data via rollback after the agent said it was impossible.
