Sora opens to ChatGPT Plus and Pro subscribers outside Europe with storyboard, remix and editing tools, ten months after the preview.
Productised text-to-video around iteration rather than one-shot prompts. Initial availability excluded Europe/UK; Wikipedia lists the US and Canada. Superseded by Sora 2 in September 2025 and shut down in 2026.
