Operator and the Computer-Using Agent (CUA)
Operator, a cloud-browser agent driven by the new Computer-Using Agent (CUA) model, launches for US ChatGPT Pro users.
CUA pairs GPT-4o vision with RL-trained reasoning to read screenshots and drive a mouse and keyboard, so no per-site integration is needed. It hands control back for logins, payments and CAPTCHAs. Folded into ChatGPT agent on 2025-07-17; the standalone Operator site was retired.
