Decisions API
OpenAI released the Decisions API in public beta, powered by gpt-6-luna, which returns typed answers from text and images about 10x faster than the Responses API.
The new POST /v1/decisions endpoint evaluates text, images or both and returns a probability that a condition is true, a choice from a fixed set, or a score against a rubric. OpenAI says it runs about 10x faster than the Responses API. gpt-6-luna is the only supported model for now, and OpenAI expects general availability in the coming weeks.
