ChatGPT memory
ChatGPT can remember facts across conversations, with user-visible memory and per-chat temporary mode, first to a small share of users.
Implemented as a simple bio tool added to the system prompt that persists user-specified notes; users can view and delete memories or use temporary chat. Precursor to 2025 memory expansions.
