Microsoft AI's first end-to-end in-house foundation model, a mixture-of-experts trained on about 15,000 H100 GPUs and tested publicly on LMArena.
First sign Microsoft was building its own frontier-model lineage rather than relying only on OpenAI; rolled into select text uses in Copilot with API access for trusted testers. No parameter count or benchmark table was given.
