Personal Agent Protocol
Meta, Walmart, Stripe, Sierra and other companies published the Personal Agent Protocol, an open standard for how personal AI agents communicate with businesses.
The protocol covers agent-to-agent communication for online commerce. It is meant to help websites tell legitimate bots acting for a user from malicious ones. Amazon recently began deliberately blocking Meta's Muse from its retail site, and websites' traditional anti-bot checks often block other personal agents too.
