Llama 2
Llama 2 7B-70B plus Llama 2-Chat released free for research and commercial use, with Microsoft as preferred cloud partner.
First Llama usable commercially. Added a full RLHF/safety recipe (Llama 2-Chat) and a detailed paper, making it the default base for open fine-tuning in 2023. The license still carries an acceptable-use policy and a large-company clause.
