Kling (1.0)
Kuaishou's Kling opened as a beta in China, a Sora-like text/image-to-video model that was publicly usable months before Sora.
Diffusion-transformer video model with a self-developed 3D VAE, launched in the KuaiYing editing app (beta around 2024-06-10) and later globally; 1.5 and 1.6 followed (1.6 in 2024-12). One of the first Sora-class models the public could actually use.
