Veo 3.1 Lite is Google's cheapest video model in the Gemini API, launched in preview as the 'most cost-efficient' tier.
A price-tier release that pushes video generation toward high-volume use. Google also announced on 2026-06-15 that Veo 2.0 and Veo 3.0 endpoints would shut down 2026-06-30.
