Google's first open-weights language models, 2B and 7B, built from Gemini research and released under custom terms permitting commercial use.
Pre-trained and instruction-tuned checkpoints with an 8,192-token window, on Kaggle and Hugging Face. Google claims they beat Llama 2 13B on key benchmarks. Terms are source-available (Gemma Terms of Use), not OSI open source.
