Agent HQ + Mission Control
GitHub announces Agent HQ: agents from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Cognition and xAI run inside GitHub under Copilot subscriptions.
GitHub positions itself as the neutral control plane for third-party coding agents, with Mission Control to assign, track and review parallel agent tasks across web, VS Code, mobile and CLI. Also Plan Mode, custom agents via AGENTS.md and a GitHub MCP Registry.
