DeepSeek quietly posted an expanded v2 of the R1 paper on arXiv; the file grew from 928 KB to 1.56 MB.
Posted about four months after the Nature version, it reportedly adds a fuller training-pipeline description, more benchmark results and a longer technical appendix. Press counts put it at 86 pages versus 22. No announcement accompanied it.
