Seedream 4.0 unifies text-to-image, instruction editing and multi-image composition in one model, 1K-4K output, 1.8 seconds for a 2K image.
Efficient diffusion transformer with a high-compression VAE to cut image tokens, plus adversarial distillation, distribution matching, quantization and speculative decoding for speed. Available through Volcano Engine; later an expanded 4.5 variant was added.
