Computer use (public beta)
Claude can operate a computer by reading screenshots, moving a cursor, clicking and typing, released as a public beta on the API.
A frontier-model API for controlling a desktop through pixels rather than app-specific integrations. Anthropic reports 14.9% on OSWorld in screenshot-only mode (22.0% when given more steps). Launched as a public beta on the Anthropic API, Amazon Bedrock and Google Vertex AI.
