Claude Platform on AWS gives AWS customers the full Claude API and Managed Agents with AWS authentication, billing and commitment retirement.
Unlike Amazon Bedrock, where AWS is the data processor, Anthropic operates this service and data is processed outside the AWS boundary; new features and betas arrive the same day as on the native API. Auth runs through AWS IAM, with CloudTrail audit and AWS billing. Managed Agents upgrades followed 2026-05-29.
