Claude in Chrome generally available
Claude in Chrome reaches general availability on every paid plan and can now act autonomously, with a safety classifier checking each action.
Ends the experimental extension phase that began 2025-08-25. Instead of approving each click, users let Claude act in the browser while a classifier validates every action against the request; Claude carries the conversation across desktop, mobile and web apps and works across tabs.
