Adobe unveils Firefly, an image and text-effect generator trained on Adobe Stock, openly licensed and expired-copyright content, pitched as safe for commercial use.
First big-vendor generator sold on a 'commercially safe' training-data story. It used Adobe Stock, openly licensed and public-domain work only, plus a 'Do Not Train' content tag and a promised compensation model for Stock contributors. Beta covered images and text effects, with Express, Photoshop and Illustrator integration planned.
